_Operations and compliance software for US hazardous waste contractors: HHW events, C&I pickups, lab packs and the facility on one set of records._

# One system for hazardous waste work.

Mercovi is operations and compliance software for US hazardous waste contractors. Events, pickups, lab packs and the facility floor run on one set of records, and each client sees its own waste, manifests and invoices. Nothing to install.

_Screen: the waste catalog — one record per stream with its composed DOT shipping description, RCRA codes, cost per measure and designated facility._

## Where do you fit?
Pick the one that sounds like your day.
- Service contractors — **I run events, pickups and lab packs.** HHW events, commercial and industrial service, lab packs and PaintCare from the same clients, wastes and prices. [See how a job runs](/platform)
- Facility operators — **I run the floor the waste comes back to.** Check it in, see how long each container has been there, consolidate it and ship it out. [See the floor](/facility)
- Counties and programs — **I run an HHW program.** Post your events, take bookings and count cars, free for any county or city program. [See the county tools](/counties)
- Generators and labs — **I need my waste picked up.** If your vendor runs on Mercovi, request service and find every manifest and invoice in one place. [See the portal](/client-portal/generators)
- Evaluators and reviewers — **I'm checking it before we sign.** Hosting, access, backups, exit and ownership, answered with what is true today. [Start the review](/security/reviewers)

## Every line of work, on one set of records.

Clients, sites, wastes and prices go in once. Every job starts from them, and the bill and the manifests come from what the job recorded.

### One job record, from setup to shipped manifest.

Prepare, staff, run and close the event on one record. Each step starts from the one before, and the manifests are filled in when the load ships.

### The quote tells you which stream isn't ready.

The quote shows which waste still needs a profile, and it can't go out until that's done. Your client can fill the profile in from their portal.

_Screen: a commercial quote — wastes and profiles, fixed charges, and one uncharacterised stream that stops the quote from being sent._

### Pack by category, and the manifest lines follow.

Sort what's on the shelf into categories and build the drums. The pack lists and manifest lines come from the drums you built.

### Know which containers are near their limit.

You lay out the bays, racks and dock. Each container shows whether it is within the limit you set for that facility, near it or past it.

_Screen: the facility floor — bays, racks, a bulking floor and a dock, every container located with its clock shown as a status against the rule that matched it._

### Your client sees the invoice, and pays it there.

It shows the same numbers your report shows and your bill charges, waste by waste. PaintCare pounds are listed separately.

## What it handles.
Under every job above, the same records. Each one has its own page.
- **Each waste, described once.** The DOT shipping description is composed from the regulatory library, with the RCRA codes, management method, designated facility and cost. Its profile sheet is a record, not a PDF in a folder. [See the waste catalog](/platform/waste-catalog)
- **Manifests filled in from the record.** Any RCRA code on a waste makes it a Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest. Continuation sheets are added when the lines run over, and the tracking number lands back on the job. [See manifests](/platform/manifests)
- **Crew with real expiry dates.** Each qualification's status comes from its expiry date, so an expired certificate shows up before the morning of the event. [See crew](/platform/crew)
- **A bill and a report that agree.** Closing a job writes the draft bill from that client's own prices. The report counts each waste the same way, so the two can't disagree. [See billing](/platform/billing)
- **The paperwork prints.** Manifest, profile sheet, dispatch sheet, load order, pack list, receipt sheet, bill and client report all print and download as PDF.
- **The tools you already use.** See which tools connect and what passes between them, or read the developer API reference. [See integrations](/integrations)

## What you can check for yourself.

The rules it follows, what you can change, and the answers a buyer asks for.

### Built on the rules.
- The manifest form is computed from the waste codes. Nobody picks it from a dropdown.
- Lab pack drums are checked for inner container size and gross weight under 49 CFR 173.12, and prohibited materials are flagged with the reason.
- Storage is shown against the limit that applies to each container, because transfer, generator and permitted storage run on different clocks.
- [Read the regulatory detail](/compliance)

### Yours to change.
- Wastes, containers, facilities, management methods, billing methods, qualifications, lab pack categories, floor plan and storage limits are settings you edit.
- Adding a disposal facility is a form in settings, not a developer ticket.
- [See what you can configure](/platform/configuration)

### Answers before you sign.
- Each manifest carries its EPA e-Manifest status, submission method and tracking number on the record.
- Hosting, access, backups, exit and ownership, answered in writing. [Read the vendor answers](/security/reviewers)
- One flat monthly fee, set for your kind of company. [How it's priced](/pricing)

> I spent almost ten years doing the legwork as an environmental technician and fifteen years building software, so Mercovi knows the walkthrough, the drum and the count. The record made in the field is the one the office uses, not a copy retyped later.
