PaintCare
Paint is counted, stated separately, and never charged twice.
Architectural paint collected under the PaintCare program is reported, not billed. Mercovi marks which wastes are paint lines, which clients are enrolled, and states the paint pounds separately on the bill — so the client sees them and is not charged for them.
Collected at events and sites.
On the client's record.
Stated separately on the bill and the report.
Enrolment lives on the client.
A toggle on the client record: enrolled or not enrolled. The PaintCare participation letter sits with the client's documents, and the site carries its PaintCare site ID alongside its EPA ID.
Stated separately, not charged.
Closing the job sums the pounds shipped on paint lines for an enrolled client and writes one line on the bill — PaintCare, stated separately — with the pounds and no amount.
The client sees the same line.
The invoice in the portal shows PaintCare stated separately, exactly as the bill does, and the report counts the paint lines on the same basis.

Client record
Enrolled or not enrolled. The participation letter with the client's documents.
Waste catalog
You decide which wastes are paint lines — latex paint, oil-based paint, flammable aerosols or whatever your program covers. A setting, not a hard-coded list; a waste can be flagged from its own drawer.
Event close
Pounds shipped on paint lines are summed for the enrolled client when the job closes.
Bill
One line: PaintCare, stated separately, with the pounds and no amount.
Report and portal
The paint lines are counted on the basis the bill states them, and the client's invoice in the portal carries the same line.
Not Chemsweep
A Chemsweep client's mobilization is priced from car-count bands and drawn against the county's annual allotment; PaintCare is a program line with pounds and no charge. They are different records and print in different places on the bill. A client may be in one, both or neither.
Asked about PaintCare.
What is PaintCare on a Mercovi bill?
A line stating the pounds of paint collected on paint-line wastes for a client enrolled in PaintCare. It carries the pounds and no amount; it is stated, not charged. The client sees the same line on its invoice in the portal.
How does a waste become a paint line?
In settings, pick the wastes in the PaintCare program from your own waste list, or flag the waste from its drawer. From then on, pounds shipped on those wastes for enrolled clients are summed onto the bill's PaintCare line when the job closes.
Is PaintCare the same as a Chemsweep allotment?
No. Chemsweep draws a county's annual allotment down against mobilization and the bill; PaintCare states paint pounds separately without charging them. A client may be in one, both or neither, and the two print in different places on the bill.
