How it works › Waste profiles

The profile is the document a facility approves.

A material profile data sheet per stream, kept as a record rather than a PDF in a folder — and started, for commercial clients, by the person who knows the material.

What it carries.

Identity, the soil determination with its analytical tests, regulatory status (RCRA and DOT), chemical composition with constituent ranges, physical properties, and the certification.

It prints and it signs.

The sheet prints as the document a generator signs and a facility files, and downloads as PDF. A client's whole profile book comes out as one PDF.

No profile, no quote.

A C&I quote line naming a waste with no profile on file cannot be sent — the facility has nothing to approve. The screen says so in words.

Started in the portal.

A commercial client fills in the profile for what it generates from its own login. The characterization starts with the person who knows the material and arrives with the service request.

A profile on screen.

Regulatory status, soil determination, chemical composition — the fields a facility reviews, kept on the stream's record and printed when a signature is needed.

A material profile data sheet: identity, regulatory status, the soil determination with its tests, chemical composition and physical properties — the document a generator signs and a facility files. From the Mercovi demo workspace. Names are fictional.

Asked before the demo.

What is a material profile data sheet?

The characterization document for a waste stream — identity, composition, physical properties, regulatory status — which a designated facility reviews before it will accept the stream. See the glossary.

Can a client fill in its own profile?

Yes. A commercial client starts the material profile from its own login in the portal — identity, composition, physical properties, regulatory status — with its own knowledge of the material. The submission arrives with the service request and walks into a quote to be priced once the profile is complete; until then the quote says, in words, what is missing.

See it run a job end to end.

Tell us what you run — events, plant pickups, lab packs, a floor — and we'll show you the screens that matter to you.
