How it works › Billing
The close-out creates the bill.
One number, one source. The bill is priced from the client's own table, the report counts on the same basis, and the portal shows the client the same figure.
Locked counts, drafted bill.
Closing a job locks containers, pounds and supplies used, and creates the draft bill from them. Nothing is retyped.
Priced per stream.
Each waste is priced from that client's own table on the basis it bills on — by the container or by the pound — resolved per stream rather than by one label on the account.
Stated separately.
PaintCare is stated separately. Chemsweep mobilization is priced from car-count bands and drawn against the annual allotment. A required certificate of disposal is attached.
Draft → Issued → Paid.
Lines lock the moment the bill is issued. Payment is recorded against it, and the client can pay it in the portal.
A bill, drafted from a closed job.
Draft, Issued, Paid. Each waste priced from the client's table on the basis it bills on, PaintCare stated separately, the lines locked on issue, the certificate requirement on the record.

Asked before the demo.
Why can't the report and the invoice disagree?
Because neither is retyped from the other. The close-out creates the bill; the report counts each stream on the basis that client is actually billed on; the portal shows the client the same number.
Can one client be billed by the container for some wastes and by the pound for others?
Yes. The billing basis is resolved per waste stream on that client's own table, not by one label on the account. Aerosols can bill per 55-gallon drum while flammable liquids bill per pound for the same client on the same bill, and the report counts each stream on the same basis the bill used.
Crew
The expired certification surfaces before the morning of the event, because its status comes from a date rather than from someone remembering.
CrewReports
A report and an invoice describing the same work cannot disagree, because the report counts each stream the way that client is actually charged for it.
